Isabella Cafe in Victoria

"Ideally located right at the Entrance to the Royal Women's Hospital, Isabella Cafe and Grill offers a broad variety of Bagels and Sándwiches, cakes, Coffees and more. Staff are friendly and service is fast. There is also plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. Visited today after another one of many Hospital Visits and decided to give Isabella's Cafe and Grill a try. Ordered a Cappuccino and a Sunset Boulevard Bagel. The Verdict : The Bagel and its ingredients were delicious, only downside was that the Bagel seemed a bit too, cold, dry and hard for my liking (Not that it was rock hard, but it wasn't as soft as I expected it to be). Being a fair minded reviewer I give it the benefit of the doubt that perhaps I'm being fussy (maybe), but overall the ingredients made up and saved the day as they were deliciously prepared. So for if ever you happen to be around the Hospital Prescint and feel like a bite or too, Isabella's Cafe and Grill is the place to go to, the sheer volume of patrons coming and going is a good sign. Recommended"

"I am regular customer in this cafeteria. The manger Deric is so lovely, he has amazing memories remembering all regular customers names and orders, feels like very welcoming always each time. Good always prepared and looks nice, can be busy in lunch time. However a great spot to go when u come to visiting someone in hospital or with Dr appointments . Thanks always Deric and team."

"Isabella Cafe & Grill Outstanding service, quality food and awesome coffee! What a great discovery this cafe is if you’re ever in or around the Royal Melbourne Hospital. A group of us have dined and stopped in for coffees here in the past two or three days while visiting a friend in hospital, and it feels like a breath of fresh air each time. Better coffees, I can’t recall. Friendlier service, I’ve seldom experienced. I really rate this place!! And the food selection is terrific as well! You can choose from the mouthwatering selection from the cabinet, or order from the menu. The presentation is first class and prices are quite reasonable. For lunch today, we had a soup of the day - pumpkin and rosemary, served with a slice of sour dough, which was truly delish, and we shared a Roast Vegetable Focaccia, which just had the loveliest flavours. Also shared was a buttermilk chicken burger with perinaise sauce, on charcoal buns - outstanding! Cannot recommend Isabella’s high enough, and the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff is an absolute credit to you all. Well done!!"

"Where I like to eat when visiting the hospitals, yes plural. Food always good and great value. Today had the Cream of Pumpkin Soup with buttered toast. Yum. Just right for a cold day."

"Located near the entrance the Royal Women’s Hospital - wide range of food and bagels available. I got the strawberry bagel and it makes for a decent breakfast alongside coffee. The staff were very nice, but it was hard to tell if there was table service or if you had to go to the front and order."
